In the hierarchy of teachers, Professor Longbottom was near the top of her list. Herbology wasn't something she wanted to make her lifes work but he was fair and patient, and she'd yet to see him lose his patience with anyone. And it was nice to see the side of him that was called "Uncle Nev." Or maybe that was just the break down in protocol that came with everything elss, she suspected it wasn't though. All in all, though working for him and with Hugo, she couldn't complain.
Her war work wasn't unpleasant by any means, and it kept her busy and fit. Allegra might think Ballet was better exercise but that didn't contribute to people getting fed, so there was that also. Even if she depeerately needed a wash at the end of the day. Not that Hugo seemed to notice, which she figured was more proof he cared about her. Not a lot of boys wanted to kiss a messy and grimy girl.
"Dinner?" God, it was that time, she didn't even remember eating lunch, though she was sure she must have. "Me too, at least I can linger tonight, no defense training."
She snuck another kiss, it wasn't like Professor Longbottom would mind, "Your Dad is really good." Wren still had plans to attend a morning session with her father, if only for more time with him. "I suppose he'd have to be to gotten to be an Auror."
