Lori took a breath and moved closer, standing between Jacob's legs to have better access. There was a deep cut across his cheekbone that would take careful healing to avoid leaving a scar. "You look tired," he said softly, as he gently cleaned the wound and then ran the tip of his wand over it, sealing it shut. This was something he could do wordlessly now, weeks of nothing but practical lessons coming in handy.
"And yes, it has," he said, knowing his face was flushed as he stepped back, going to work on the other minor injuries Jacob had accrued during practice. He'd done the same with the other participants, though some had chosen to go up to the infirmary instead. "Defense is one of my weaker areas. I've been working hard to improve that. These sessions are useful, in more ways than one. I can practice Defense and Healing at the same time."
