Hermione finally let it go, chuckling. "I know we're married, love, but your father is a pureblood. Sure, he doesn't believe in blood superiority, but he doesn't really view the Muggle world as equal to this one. He tries, but it's hard to let go of centuries of beliefs. Without the spell, he doesn't feel that he's married." She smiled. "I agree with you. I have my family and that spell is irrelevant. Some people just get too attached to the silly things, like your father... and your sister. You might not want to say any of this to her; she might kill you," she teased.
