RP: Hugo, Hermione Who: Hugo, Hermione Where: Hogwarts, Granger-Weasley quarters When: 9 July 2025; 20:30 Rating/Warnings: Summary: Hugo is tired after a day of working and training
After a long, hot shower Hugo headed into the small room that served as their living room here at Hogwarts books in hand. He'd never thought it would come to this, voluntarily studying during the summer but there wasn't much else to do. Plus, he still planned to learn all he could about the Animagus transformation, even if actually achieving it was beyond his skill level at the moment. It wouldn't be for long, though, and he wanted to be prepared.
He opened the latest book he'd been able to get from the library, Theories of Transubstantial Transfiguration, and opened to the second chapter. It was dull, dense reading, but Hugo was lucky that he'd inherited his mother's knack for note-taking, rather than his father's. It hadn't been a skill he'd used much, prior to this year, but it was one he was improving on everyday.
The door to opened, and he looked up to see his mother come in. He grinned at her, and put his finger in his book to keep his place. "All right, Mum?" he asked in greeting, tilting his head up to look at her.
