Pansy was not sure what she had expected to hear from her son's mouth when he told them that he had interesting news, but that he was getting married - and so soon - was not at all what she had considered in the realm of possibilities.
"Stephen, love, please tell me you were not forced into this." Pansy managed with as much motherly devotion in her voice as she could manage. "There are always things we can do to keep this from happening." She still refused to believe that her only son would be forced into a marriage with a child, and a child who had turned blood traitor on top of all of it. It wasn't a question of whether or not she could handle the arrangements, but whether they would allow this to happen and she unlike her husband hadn't given up hope of that.
