Theo and Stephen
Dinner went by as smoothly as could be expected, but when it was over, Theo for one was more than eager to see the back of Mrs Lestrange. He had, however, during dinner taken some time to speak to Andromeda. He knew his wife, knew she was resisting the very notion of this union, but he'd seen what she had not. The manic gleam in Bellatrix' eyes when she tortured someone in front of the rest of the Wizengamot. The satisfaction she got out of it. A sadistic pleasure far beyond sanity.
When she threatened, ever so indirectly, Stephen's life should this union not happen, Theodore knew to pay attention. Use to them or not, resist, and she would kill you. He'd seen her do that too, when she didn't think the Cruciatus was enough.
"Stephen, I need a word," he said as soon as the guests were out the door. "Come with me to the library." He waited until they were inside, and the door was closed behind them. After pouring himself a drink he offered Stephen one as well then took his seat in one of the chairs by the fire. "What are your thoughts about Miss Black?" he asked, hoping Bellatrix would die before any union could take place. He'd much prefer Belvina.
