"No it is never too late, I'm sure with your influence your sister will turn out fine this time." Pansy wasn't at all interested in how Andromeda turned out so long as it was no where near her family. The girl was trouble - anyone who willingly married a mudblood the way she had was not someone she wanted attached to her family, not to mention her sister. Pansy understood that dealing with people like Bellatrix was a reality of this new world they found themselves in, but she was not going to have this forced upon them.
Pansy had to rely heavily on the plastered on smile she wore when Bellatrix began to mention the death of Charlotte, the mask she wore never more fragile than in this moment. She heard the threat in Bellatrix's words even if the other woman pretended they were not there at all - but Pansy was not about to let her family be pushed around. "As you said, those who do their part need not worry, and Theodore has more than proved our willingness to work with this new government." She replied coolly as she regained her composure all with never having let the facade slip.
Thankfully Theo turned the conversation to work, though it seemed that marriage was something Bellatrix was determined to talk about no matter the direction their conversation took. She didn't mention that even without marriages there would still be children born to those who were not purebloods - honestly, if they expected people like the Weasleys to stop procreating they were more delusional than anyone had feared. "That is very good news indeed, it is about time the government took an active role in the well being of future children."
