"It won't change anything, but it might help." He watched her turn from the water almost immediately after reaching it and continued to keep pace with her as she moved.
It took Ron a moment to understand what he meant, confusion crossing his face as he tried to work out what the significance of her words were but then he understood. Fitting - like the fitting Hermione had done before their wedding.
"This is a mess, isn't it?" Ron said finally, because what could he say about a dress fitting? He couldn't change the fact that they were stuck there, and he could see in the set of her shoulders just how upset she was over being denied this. "I wish I could do something to change this, to make it better for you." He'd always done his best to make sure his children were happy and taken care of, and he hated being unable to fix this for Rose now.
