Patrick knew that things weren't perfect out there; in fact, he was sure that many people had died without reason. Marcus was the prime example. "I know, but maybe now that there is some semblance of order, the killings will end."
He wasn't sure if he should laugh or be insulted, but he did nothing, shrugging the accusations away. "I don't want anything. I'm sorry if that screws with the way you see the world, but there's no ulterior motive. I think you're hot. I really believe that gay wizards should help each other. Did I mention that you are hot?
