Re: Alastor - Marlene
Marlene smiled at him. "I know, love, and I'm sure Patrick will understand if told in a polite manner and with options presented. I'm giving you the time to get used to people who care more about enjoying life than doing what wise from a security's point of view. I'm sure we can find a room on the second floor, reachable by everyone."
Leave it to Alastor to get her exaggeration and make it an even bigger one. "I think we'll keep you around for another 'few years'. After all, that's such a long time," she teased. "It's good to know, because I'm pretty sure that marrying a child is illegal. However, an old woman of twenty-two is perfectly acceptable." She rested her head against his shoulder. "Oh, love, I really don't get people some days. They are all in such a rush to do everything yesterday. I'm enjoying now, despite current events."
