Re: Al/Peter ... future Bill?
Al was jittery from lack of sleep, lack of caffeine, lack of daily newspaper, lack of library, lack of owlery, lack of several relatives, and the looming presence of communal defense courses, which he suspected would not have the content of theoretical or research value but would strongly follow Auror curriculum instead.
Even though Ted was responsible for assisting people with adjusting to things, he highly doubted that Ted would know where to start on a case like this. Al still had problem with ordering such a list. Probably alphabetical: lack, lack, lack, presence.
He was surprisingly not so jittery at the presence of a husband. In fact, Severus at the High Table was the only welcome sight.
To distract himself, he reprioritised completely and dove headfirst into reviewing Peter's notes handed to him by his seat neighbour. He craved numbers; especially the numbers that made sense. These ones, fortunately, did.
"So... we're just going to invite ourselves to his research?" he asked. "Sounds brilliant to me."
