Re: Al/Peter ... future Bill?
Peter hadn't slept the night before. After the trip to the infirmary, he'd spent the rest of the evening and most of the early hours of the morning organizing his new rooms. He let the Elves deal with his few personal possessions, and had spent his time on the really important things--his research.
But finally everything had been back exactly has it should have been. Instead of sleeping though, he'd spent the rest of the night working. The ideas that had been flittering about while talking to Sirius spewed forth, and he'd had to transfigure his couch into another blackboard. It was all right though, he didn't expect to entertain much, and research space was more important.
By the time lunch rolled around, he was flying high from the research. He hadn't been going to go down to the Great Hall, except the House Elves had refused to bring him food, saying his presence was needed in the Great Hall. He grumbled, but gathered up his handwritten notes from the night before, and the blueprints he'd used to recreate his lab, and headed down.
He ignored most of the speech, only perking up when he heard the words Arithmancy and research. He turned to Al, hand handed him the notes. "Read those. We'll go tell your Uncle that we'll be handling his Arithmancy research." It wasn't even a question. There was no one better at Arithmancy than Peter was, and Al was an acceptable research assistant.
