Summary: The Order retreats to Hogwarts.

As soon as Jamie was out of the Ministry, he Apparated to Grimmauld Place, and began sending messages.

He sent the first message to Severus and Moody. Voldemort has taken control of the Ministry, get ready to set up defences at Hogwarts. Be there as soon as I inform everyone..

The second was a fire message to all members of the Order: Voldemort has control of the Ministry. You and your family are to relocate at Hogwarts immediately. Take anything necessary; you won't go back.

Then there was fire message to the teachers on board who were members of the Order, while the ones who weren't received a Patronus with the exact message.

Voldemort has control of the Ministry and there was an explosion at King's Cross. Do not tell the students or you'll have panic. Stop the train, Apparate the Muggleborns home and advise them to leave immediately. Advice anyone capable of Apparating, with or without a license, to take themselves and any siblings home. When done, retreat to Hogwarts and bring Hugo, Alex, Roxanne and Louis Weasley.

Another Patronus was for Al: Voldemort has control of the Ministry. Go to Hogwarts immediately. Take anything necessary from the house, because you won't go back.

Finally, he sent a last message to Sirius. You'd better be okay. I'm going to Hogwarts, get your arse there, and let me know, you're okay.

Finally, he changed into something more comfortable, grabbed his broom and anything that he could think they'd need in the coming months. Thankfully, they had the house under Fidelius and would be able to return. He handed the trunk to Dolan and told him to go straight to Kreacher and then he Apparated to Hogwarts, the last free place in the country.

Bill nodded. "Yeah, they'll be fine," he said, holding onto that thought for now. He couldn't let go of it. Couldn't afford to right now.

"So what's going on?" he asked. "Other than general chaos," he said. "Is there any organisation at all?" He took one of the bags and handed to Charlie, taking the two others himself as he started to walk. "Where is Dumbledore?" he asked, though he had a feeling what the answer might be. He had to be, didn't he? If Voldemort was taking over.

Charlie nodded along with Bill - knowing they were both in that same frame of mind. Focus on now, and after things were taken care of he could afford to worry. But not yet.

"Hermione's here, do you really need to ask about organization?" He asked arching an eyebrow at his brother as he took the bag Bill handed him. "Gods what did you bring? Your entire kitchen?" He asked, bags shouldn't be this heavy with spells on them. "Not sure about Dumbledore, I haven't heard anything yet. Though I'm sure he's keeping himself busy." There was enough going on today to keep them all busy for weeks, months, even years to come. It wasn't a surprise that not everyone was here yet, not when there were attacks going on. And he wasn't even going to think that the impossible had happened again - Voldemort was just a child this time, and they knew what they were up against this time. No that wasn't something that could have just happened.

Callum had left Sirius in search of this Jamie. A redhead usually meant a Weasley and usually they were easy to spot, but not in this chaos. It took sometime to find one. Actually two. At least, he knew one of then.

"Hey, Weasley," he said, getting closer. "I met Sirius? He said to look for Jamie and to ask a redhead. Figured you'd qualify. Do you know what the hell I'm talking about, and who is this Jamie?"

"My entire vault," Bill answered Charlie, just as another man came up to them. One he didn't know. He looked at Charlie, raising an eyebrow as they seemed to know each other. "Literary," he finished the sentence.

"And Dumbledore better be okay, we know what happened last time." And maybe that was the difference. He no longer saw the man as invincible.

"I don't know where Jamie is," he answered the man who had arrieved. "He's our nephew and Sirius' husband so yeah, we know who you're talking about, but I just arrived. Is Sirius okay?" he asked before turning back to Charlie. "Do you know where Jamie is? We need to get the bags back to the castle."

Charlie shook his head when Bill told him he'd brought his entire vault - no wonder the bags were so heavy. Probably was the smart thing to do though.

"Callum." Charlie was surprised to see the other man there at the school, especially after he'd been so vocal about not helping them. But he decided it was probably best not to ask right then. Who knew what was going on with him and Alastor.

He snorted when Callum continued, perfect Sirius really was trouble. He nodded when Bill asked if he knew where Jamie was. "Need me to point you in his direction? Or just pass something along?" He asked. He'd seen Jamie a few times all ready, it shouldn't be too hard to find him again.

Callum wondered when a Weasley suddenly married another man and stopped reproducing, but there was so many strange things in this new world, that he tried not to think about that.

"Dumbledore is not okay." He wondered why they were all so fixated with one man, even if he had defeated Grindelwald.

"Sirius has been hit, he was bleeding. I patched him up and brought him to the infirmary. It's blood loss, mostly. I couldn't find anything else, but the healer was looking him over." Callum really wanted to disappear, but he had promised the man and his word meant something. "If you can tell me which redhead he is, I'll let him know."

"Wait.. you've heard about Dumbledore? Where is he? Did they take him to St. Mungo's?" Maybe he was all ready in the infirmary there at the school, the stubborn part of Charlie's mind making him unable to think the worst yet.

"Wonderful, leave it to that man to give us all something else to worry about today." He nodded when Callum explained that he'd patched Sirius up, at least he wasn't going to be dying. Well not yet. And now he was at least been seen to by Healers, he'd live.

"Actually Jamie is one of the few of us without red hair." He shook his head, but then Jamie wasn't really a Weasley either so it wasn't such a surprise. "Want to walk with us in the castle? Jamie should up there, likely handing out orders." He told Callum.

He almost wondered if he'd said too much, but Alastor had said that people would know soon enough, so it wasn't a secret. "I'm sorry, but he'd dead," he said.

"I don't think he was looking to be hexed when he went to work. You don't expect someone to take over the Ministry." God, but things were even crazier than he had thought. Random violent groups weren't supposed to take over, especially when they were led by eighteen year old. Someone really needed to ground this Riddle boy.

Callum nodded. "Yeah, that's fine. We can walk there." He frowned. "Handing out orders? One of three," he said, mostly to himself.

Charlie hadn't even let himself think the words, but hearing them out of Callum's mouth, hearing them actually spoken was enough to shatter any pretenses he had. "Gods." He hadn't thought it possible the first time it had happened, and now for it to have happened again - today of all days? It wasn't right, and it didn't seem possible yet again.

"No, he probably didn't." Charlie agreed, no one had expected this when they got up that morning. He'd known something was going to happen, known it was coming and yet for it to have happened today? It was too soon - they weren't ready for this.

He was surprised when Callum mentioned one of three, Alastor must have told him at least some about the Order. "That he would be." Charlie nodded, he still wasn't sure if Jamie was going to be able to pull it off, but Dumbledore had put his faith in his nephew, told them he would be part of the new leadership and Charlie would respect that.

Bill closed his eyes at the news, shaking his head. When he looked up again he looked at Charlie. "That explains how he dared," he said. "It's the same thing all over again isn't it? We know what happens now." Fuck.

He didn't comment on the one of three, he wasn't sure who this Callum was and hence found it better to be quiet. Like Charlie he also had his doubts. In twenty years, even a decade, but now? He was too young, only twenty. We'll they'd find out soon enough how well he did, wouldn't they?

"He's the one over there," Bill said and pointed as he spotted Jamie, directing people around. Looking at him like that, he sort of had an air of authority around him. He still wished Harry had been a part of it, but he'd keep that view for himself.

"I doubt God had anything to do with that," he muttered. "I still don't get why no one has spanked a bleeding eighteen year old. Should have taken him over the knee when he was young."

He looked over when Weasley pointed the kid out, and he was a kid, younger than Sirius. "God, how old is he? They surely make them different nowadays." He didn't remember kids looking so muscular and put together. He didn't know how Al would work with this kid. "Well, thanks, I'll go tell him."

Bill stared at him, blinking, who the hell was this person. "You're not from this time are you?" he said. "Voldemort is the most powerful wizard ever to attend Hogwarts save for Dumbledore. And yes, he's only eighteen but he still kills and murders without hesitation. He's created spells that takes weeks and months to crack," he said, sighing.

"If it was as easy as grabbing him and putting him over our laps, trust me, we would have by now."

He smiled sadly at the reaction. "Twenty, soon twenty one," he said. "And survivor of a curse put on him by Voldemort himself," he said. "He also is one of the few, if not the only, who ever got a hit on Voldemort in a duel," he added. "And his father fought a fully grown Voldemort when he was only a teenager," he said. "Don't let age fool you. It's far from everything."

"You're welcome."
