Summary: The Order retreats to Hogwarts.

As soon as Jamie was out of the Ministry, he Apparated to Grimmauld Place, and began sending messages.

He sent the first message to Severus and Moody. Voldemort has taken control of the Ministry, get ready to set up defences at Hogwarts. Be there as soon as I inform everyone..

The second was a fire message to all members of the Order: Voldemort has control of the Ministry. You and your family are to relocate at Hogwarts immediately. Take anything necessary; you won't go back.

Then there was fire message to the teachers on board who were members of the Order, while the ones who weren't received a Patronus with the exact message.

Voldemort has control of the Ministry and there was an explosion at King's Cross. Do not tell the students or you'll have panic. Stop the train, Apparate the Muggleborns home and advise them to leave immediately. Advice anyone capable of Apparating, with or without a license, to take themselves and any siblings home. When done, retreat to Hogwarts and bring Hugo, Alex, Roxanne and Louis Weasley.

Another Patronus was for Al: Voldemort has control of the Ministry. Go to Hogwarts immediately. Take anything necessary from the house, because you won't go back.

Finally, he sent a last message to Sirius. You'd better be okay. I'm going to Hogwarts, get your arse there, and let me know, you're okay.

Finally, he changed into something more comfortable, grabbed his broom and anything that he could think they'd need in the coming months. Thankfully, they had the house under Fidelius and would be able to return. He handed the trunk to Dolan and told him to go straight to Kreacher and then he Apparated to Hogwarts, the last free place in the country.

Despite Louis' assurance that he was fine Dom checked him over, she just needed to see for herself. "I'm fine." He promised. "I've been here all day. I haven't heard from them yet, but they are supposed to be coming to the school." They were both in the Order they would have gotten the same message she did.

She nodded. "That's probably a good idea." She felt better when he took her hand. Not quite so frantic and out of control and ready to do something monumentally stupid. "There's going to be plenty to do," And it would keep her from worrying about their father and Victoire, and Dylan. They'd all get there eventually. They just had to wait.

But it seemed that she was even less patient now than she had been in the past, though she didn't know if that had anything to do with her new condition or not.

'Of course it's a good idea.' Louis managed a cocky smirk. 'I came up with it.' Tugging lightly on her hand, he kept her close to his side as they left the sanctuary of her rooms.

'If Aunt Hermione is here I'm sure she will be organizing things by now. We should probably try to find her?' He wondered what would be for the best, Dom was a teacher but there probably wasn't training for this sort of situation.

She smiled when he smirked at her. "You always were the smart one." She agreed, squeezing his hand as they left her rooms - even up here she could hear the chaos going on below them. She'd seen it out her window, but it was better than hiding upstairs.

"Yeah, I think we should." She agreed, things were crazy and she needed something to do something that wasn't worrying about their father or Dylan or Victoire. "Stay with me please, okay?" She squeezed his hand again, she just needed him there with her - there was too much chaos too many people as she saw when they came downstairs. It was overwhelming, too loud, too many smells, too many emotions coursing through her, she just needed a little support. At least until they knew everyone was okay.

Louis nodded as his sister requested he stay. He wouldn't dream of leaving her, not until the rest of their family was there, safe. 'I'm not going anywhere Dom.'

The place was crowded, it seemed even more so that when the entire body of students were there. Panic was tangible in the air and he couldn't even begin to imagine what Dominique's werewolf senses made of it all. 'Is this too difficult? All these people I mean.' He frowned, for the first time in a long time, he wasn't making sense. 'For the wolf.'

"Thank you." She said softly giving his hand another squeeze, grateful he'd found her and that he was staying.

She understood what he'd meant, even without the clarification - but Louis always did like to make sure he was understood. "It's a lot to take in." She nodded. "It's different when it's just the students." They were happy and occasionally stressed about homework and upcoming exams. This was people panicked, fearing for their lives, for their families. There were people who'd been injured, they were bleeding and she knew it without even having seen them - recognizing that familiar scent in the air.

"I'll be okay." She told him though, she could handle this. She just needed to keep him close, there needed to be at least one familiar person by her in all of this. And when she let herself stop worrying about the rest of their family it would be easier as well.
