Summary: The Order retreats to Hogwarts.

As soon as Jamie was out of the Ministry, he Apparated to Grimmauld Place, and began sending messages.

He sent the first message to Severus and Moody. Voldemort has taken control of the Ministry, get ready to set up defences at Hogwarts. Be there as soon as I inform everyone..

The second was a fire message to all members of the Order: Voldemort has control of the Ministry. You and your family are to relocate at Hogwarts immediately. Take anything necessary; you won't go back.

Then there was fire message to the teachers on board who were members of the Order, while the ones who weren't received a Patronus with the exact message.

Voldemort has control of the Ministry and there was an explosion at King's Cross. Do not tell the students or you'll have panic. Stop the train, Apparate the Muggleborns home and advise them to leave immediately. Advice anyone capable of Apparating, with or without a license, to take themselves and any siblings home. When done, retreat to Hogwarts and bring Hugo, Alex, Roxanne and Louis Weasley.

Another Patronus was for Al: Voldemort has control of the Ministry. Go to Hogwarts immediately. Take anything necessary from the house, because you won't go back.

Finally, he sent a last message to Sirius. You'd better be okay. I'm going to Hogwarts, get your arse there, and let me know, you're okay.

Finally, he changed into something more comfortable, grabbed his broom and anything that he could think they'd need in the coming months. Thankfully, they had the house under Fidelius and would be able to return. He handed the trunk to Dolan and told him to go straight to Kreacher and then he Apparated to Hogwarts, the last free place in the country.

Margot had managed to find a semi-empty room to levitate the body into. Once the corpse was on the bed, she turned to Lori, wondering how she was going to explain that she planned on kidnapping him. "Lori, I know we haven't know each other long, but I need to know if you trust me," she said quickly, but seriously.

There wasn't much time for an answer when a young blond wizard came bursting into the room without warning. Margot whipped her wand out and had it pointed at the boy's chest. "Who the bloody hell are you?" she demanded. Having spent more time with both her sister and Alastor some of their paranoia began to rub off on her.

"Move away from the door," she instructed.

Lori had been washing up after a long morning in surgery, and was thankfully alone when the message came. It was his mother's Patronus, urging him to get to Hogwarts, and not to worry about Dad or Sandy, they were on their way too. He'd spared just a few seconds to worry, and then kicked into Emergency mode when Margot suddenly shouted for him.

He followed Margot without a word, not even having to think about it. He couldn't explain it, but his trust in her was instantaneous, as if he'd known her far longer and better than a week. "Of course I do," he said, and knew she felt the same. She had to, or she wouldn't even be here.

He was about to ask what was going on, when Scorpius burst in, looking frightened. Margot had a wand trained on him immediately, and Lori quickly moved between them, even as he summoned a bag to start throwing supplies into. It was technically stealing, but he had the feeling they were going to need it.

"Margot, Scorpius. Scor, this is Margot. We're leaving with her," he said, and glanced at them both. "Margot, Scor is my boyfriend. He needs to come with us." They were wasting time, and there was never time to waste in an emergency. "We need to get to Hogwarts, now."

Pleased that Lori trusted her, she was prepared to just take his arm and apparate them both away. The arrival of the other blond stopped her. After introductions, she nodded. "Good. Do you need to go back for anything at your flat? Clothes, sentimentals? If so, do it now."

Noticing that Lori was blatantly stealing from the hospital, she shrugged and summoned a second bag and began gathering all that she could. Margot knew Hogwarts kept a few things around so they could brew new potions, but it would nice have some things already made in case any injured arrived at the castle.

"I'm going to make a quick raid of the potion closet. If I don't see you at Hogwarts in 30 minutes, I'm coming after you!"

Lori didn't think they had thirty minutes. "Make it fifteen and we have a deal," he told her, before taking Scor's hand. "Don't be stupid." It was as close to a warning as he would give, and then he Apparate both himself and Scor to his flat.

"Throw anything useful you can find in these," he said, summoning some dufflebags. "Especially my potions equipment." He didn't know how long they would be at Hogwarts, but there wasn't time to think of that yet. he started throwing all the important things into the bag--books, photos, clothes, medical texts and equipment.

"Time's up," he said, and took Scor's hand again. "Hogwarts." They Apparated, and appeared in front of the gates, just as Margot did. He grinned at her, and they made their way up to the castle.

	Scorpius let Lori lead, impressed with how calm he was and how he thought. He really was good under pressure. He helped gather Lori's lab equipment. "I'm glad we are together this time," he said, shrinking the bag. He loved him and they would be safe. He took his boyfriend's hand and they left for Hogwarts. "What do we need to do first?" After the two young men apparate, Margot moved quickly through the halls to the potion supply closet. She didn't want to leave them with less than what they would need, so she only took half a dozen of each brewed potion along with extra bandages and other various medical equipment. It only took her a few minutes, but she wondered if she'd have time to apparate home.

Taking a chance, she apparated to the manor and run to her room where her papers and latest books were stack on one of the chairs. Margot summoned her trunk, shrinking and tossing books, clothing and a few toiletries into it. In her rush she didn't even look at the majority of the things she packed. She shrunk the trunk and stuffed into the bag with the medical supplies and apparated the gates.

She nodded when she saw the two blonds arrive at the same time as her. "Go to the hospital wing. Lori, work with the Healer to set up a triage space. We don't know how many injured were are going to get or what their injuries may be," she said, taking charge of them "You, Scorpius? Begin an inventory of everything we brought in these bags as well as whatever they have at the castle. I'm going to find someone in charge and let them know we're here. I'll meet you back there as soon as I'm done."

"Right, stay safe," he told Margot, giving her a quick smile, before heading in the direction of the Infirmary. He'd spent a lot of time there as a student, not for injuries but for studying how Healer Goldstein did things.

"We're here to help," he told the Healer as they finally made the trek there. "And we have supplies. Where do you want us to set up?" He waited for instructions, and then quickly set to work, telling Scorpius where to put things and organizing the supplies they'd brought, taking inventory of what was already there.

"We need a triage center, just in case, and we have another Healer on the way, Margot McKinnon." He kept up the information stream as he worked, taking a second every now and then to check on Scorpius, or brush his hand against him reassuringly. They didn't have time for this now, but he knew Scor had to be just as worried about his family as Lori was about his own.

Scorpius rummaged through a bag, taking out his parchment and quill. It was a drawing tablet but he could put it to good use. He unloaded the ingredients, creating a table of what they had and how many. He separated potions, and ingredients, listing each ingredient under a subheading describing the type, like roots, leaves, powders. It would make it much easier to decipher what they had and what they might need. He fully intended to be as helpful as possible. Once the headings were finished, the items were easy to log. He left room so that they could mark items off the inventory as needed or even add more later.

He looked up and watched his boyfriend work, before going back to his own. Now he had to organize the supplies into the groups he created. "Look at this and then tell me how you would like them laid out. We need somewhere that they will be easy to get to if you need them." He was actually proud of his work. In a small way, it would make a difference.
