Hannah silently agreed a date would have been better than just a warning, but at least they were warned. At the Battle of Hogwarts some 20 plus years ago, a warning would have been welcomed. They could have been better prepared for the fight.
"Would certainly explain why Snape said Neville was not allowed to go home for the summer," she said. "I was very put out by the news. We had plans this summer which apparently aren't going to happen."
When she heard the news professors were staying at the castle, Hannah was more than half tempted to give the man a piece of her mind. However, she never did and at the present time, she was glad she hadn't done anything rash.
"Good thing you saw something and told him. Otherwise, there would be far more deaths and so much chaos then there already is," she said.
