The biggest problem with this many people was the fact it was nearly impossible to distinguish one scent or sound from another. Trying to track down, Regulus or Ted or any of the others was as frustrating for Remus as it was for everyone else -- maybe more so because under other circumstances, his nose would lead him right to them.
His reflexes, however, were still in top form and as soon as he sensed someone right behind him, he was turning to see who it was, awareness still set in 'combat mode'. The sight of Kingsley Shacklebolt reminded him to take a breath and relax again. At least enough he wasn't wound tight enough to attack his own side.
"All right, Kingsley?" he asked with some concern, seeing the other man's obvious distraction in both bearing and unfocused gaze.
