"Thank you." She said softly giving his hand another squeeze, grateful he'd found her and that he was staying.
She understood what he'd meant, even without the clarification - but Louis always did like to make sure he was understood. "It's a lot to take in." She nodded. "It's different when it's just the students." They were happy and occasionally stressed about homework and upcoming exams. This was people panicked, fearing for their lives, for their families. There were people who'd been injured, they were bleeding and she knew it without even having seen them - recognizing that familiar scent in the air.
"I'll be okay." She told him though, she could handle this. She just needed to keep him close, there needed to be at least one familiar person by her in all of this. And when she let herself stop worrying about the rest of their family it would be easier as well.
