Re: Hugo & Mum & Dad
The Ministry had been a nightmare. He'd never thought he'd see something like that, and yet there was right in front of him. Death Eaters, werewolves, Dementors swarming through the Ministry killing at random as they went through the building.
Ron did what he could, pushing his trainees to an exit, he told them all to leave, to ignore the fighting and just keep themselves safe - to go to Hogwarts. He knew better than to try and stand up against this. It would have been suicide, he just hoped that others realized that and focused on getting out instead of fighting.
He didn't go home when he got out of the Ministry, instead going straight to Hogwarts. It would be where his family was and that was his first concern now - anything else could be replaced he just needed to know they were all right. Things were in an uproar at Hogwarts too, but Ron pushed his way inside.
He'd get with the program after he knew everyone was all right. Thankfully, Hermione seemed to have set herself up in a position to organize things - and Ron thought he'd never loved her more than he did right at that moment. He pulled her into a hug, didn't even pause to say anything just held her tightly.
And after a moment reached out without really looking tugging Hugo to him as well. "Where's Rose, she's all right?" Seeing his wife and son intact had moved his concerns to his daughter. After that he could focus on something else.
