The list of the dead. A wave of nausea rolled over him though logically he knew deaths were going to occur. They were at war. His own life paralleled that phenomenon exactly. With birth comes death. Merlin, he hoped that no child was orphaned tonight.

Noting that fact down as well, he made a mental checklist of the questions that needed asking: name, profession, and family members to start. More than likely they'd be doing a fair amount reuniting. And of course, did you see anyone die. Perhaps an off hand comment could put a family's nightmare to rest when a loved one was missing from Hogwarts.

"Ronan Derrick will go at the top of my list," he said, flipping a few pages to write List of Dead. Unfortunately, he doubted it was one anyone wanted to be on.
