Hugo knew something was very, very wrong as soon as Professor Black Apparated onto the train. He wasn't his mother's son for nothing though, and grabbed his trunk on his way past, shrinking it and sticking it in his pocket. His mother had taught them to always be prepared, and this was definitely the type of situation she'd trained them on.
He helped a few younger kids with theirs too, all while keeping moving, never stopping until he reached the last car. Older students, those who could Apparate, were following directions too, but it was chaotic at best.
"What's going on?" he asked, but didn't expect an answer. He just let the Professor Apparate him to the Hogwarts gates, and headed up to the castle. He'd get his answers there.
