Frowning when he hesitated, she let it go. Given a direction for her thoughts, Cassandra was already making plans for the estate and Stables and that was more pressing than prying into each others' emotional states when they weren't even really friends any longer.
She couldn't leave. Papa and Grandpapa wouldn't leave. But maybe she could send Persephone to their grandparents in France.
"No, you're needed elsewhere and I can manage." Up here, they were a little separated from the carnage below and she was beginning to think more clearly, make plans for the family's survival -- again. She'd put Persephone on a horse if she had to and... "Oh Merlin! My sister. I have to get her and the Express isn't due in for almost three hours!"
Perhaps she could apparate home, get her assistant to start evacuating staff as needed, while she took Croi Dubh back to follow the tracks from King's Cross. Although, how she'd get her sister off the train... but, she couldn't just sit at the platform and wait for her. Who knew what could happen then!
