Jacob actually found himself surprised when Craig finally opened his mouth. First that it seemed like he'd actually taken time to consider what he'd said and then to come to the conclusion that he might have been able to understand him. "Perhaps you will not be so quick to judge in the future. We all make mistakes, and we all wander off the path at some point in our lives. I hardly think you've been perfect your whole life." Though knowing Craig that was probably a lie.
"The past is behind us and you don't know if you'll even be alive tomorrow to hate me, all we have is today." He smirked, pleased at just how corny he sounded - but he was in a giving advice sort of mood.
"So stop complaining and enjoy spending time with me, after all not everyone gets to spend time with me these days. It's a rare commodity." He smirked as he finished, never just content to leave things on a slightly neutral note. "Oh please, I might have been pretending to be an idiot Ravenclaw, but I would have said no to that plan."
