"You can try, but we're pretty sturdy against that sort of thing," he said. He was rather glad for the crowd; they'd sure as hell been slipping up a lot, using their words and not taking care about it. No one seemed to have noticed though ... still, he'd be sure to keep a watch on that.
He shrugged a little to James' assessment. "So I'm scary now?" he said with a grin before waving it off. He wasn't really looking, and he was content enough with how things were for him. If he happened to find someone, brilliant, but he wasn't going to drive himself crazy trying to find someone.
"By the by, I don't think you're gay," he pointed out, nudging James with his shoulder. "I mean, think you'd've figured it out by now if you were, yeah?"
