"You know, contrary to this experiment, we are wizards. I can Apparate. I can even bring someone with me," James said, grinning. He wasn't that desperate of course, but it was good to banter.
"The traps aren't that useful if they are used on you," he said, trying not to laugh. "Ouch, that's just... wrong." He squeezed his legs without even thinking. "That would have sucked big time."
He squeezed Tris' shoulder. "I'm pulling your leg. I know what you're doing is important. I'll even stay sober with you... only for the night, though. We're partying once this lot gets home. Still, sober doesn't mean I can't find a pint, right? I'll even let you take a sip, and you can still be the responsible one."
