"Oh thank gods, if you said it was raspberry I might have lost it - right on you," Mona said, taking the lemon ice gratefully. She sucked a bit of the melted liquid from the paper cone's top and it tasted sooo good. She closed her eyes and sighed.
"Here, have some more. The cold, it's good," she told Alex, handing him back the ice. "I'm sorry your head feels bad. Mine does too."
She wasn't sorry for why, however.
Mona gave Alex a panicked look. "Are you sure he won't say anything? You said your dad's pretty strict, right? I don't want you to get in trouble."
