Lori made sure to look up from time to time, so he would know when Scorpius was up. He put away his books as soon as Scor's group took the skies, and cheered his boyfriend on. He knew enough about Quidditch to know that Scor was good, which was why when Scor was done and holding out the envelope, Lori didn't waste a second before taking it from him.
"Of course it's good news," he said, and tore the envelope open. He read the short letter, and then held it out to Scor. "See, they're smart on this team. They know the goods when they see it." He leaned up to kiss Scor, regardless of the number of people around. They'd already gone public, so a little kiss wasn't going to hurt anything.
"I'm so proud of you," he said, linking their hands together. "We need to celebrate."
