Marlene tilted her head. "Do I? Really, isn't that the way most men want women to behave? I just give them what they want, and if they stop looking at everything that's beneath that, it's really not my fault."
She chuckled. "So this is not the right time to mention that my sister is a Gryffindor and a healer."
She sighed. "I think you're grasping to whatever you can to keep a link with your former life when you were rich and influential, and when your last name meant something, but love, things have changed more than we could even imagine, and clinging to what used to be important might do more harm than good."
