"I'm sure you will. The house can't be that big," he said, politely, although it was much bigger than anything he'd live in. "How many of you are there? And where you living before?" He was curious to know why the sudden move. "No one seemed to be living here when we got here."
Callum shrugged. "I can't say that I've done enough to 'settle in'. Confusing is not the word I'd use." He wasn't confused. He was upset, sad, angry, but confused was not even in that list.
He shook his head. "No, not yet. Not sure where I'd go." Wales was a possibility, home maybe. "All the places that meant something don't have the people that made them special."
