Re: Harry and Remus
"Perhaps, but in your shoes I'm not so sure I'd have as easy a time to forgive. But then you are a better man than me," he said with a smile. He was many things, but forgiving wasn't one of them. "Not that I would ever say any of what I've said to you to anyone else," he said. "It wouldn't be fair to Teddy."
He chuckled. "It is a bit strange, yes," he said. "But Dad and I have managed to find a way. Mum and I too, though it took a while longer."
When Remus went on, he opened his mouth to say that he was ridiculous. That he had no reason to be jealous, but before the words came out, he stopped himself, thinking of how he'd feel if he'd come been denied the right to raise his children. He nodded. "You'll always be his father, Remus, that can never be taken away from you no matter what," he said. "But I guess I can understand. I wouldn't have wanted to miss it all either. I don't think any father would have."
