"Yes, I can," Harry answered plainly. "Do know that I have never said a word against Andromeda to Teddy or anyone else in my life, but yes I can blame her. Even disregarding the way she thought then - which is wrong simply because she did not take the time to know you - I can and do blame her for the way she ignored your existence with Teddy."
"He had a right to learn about both his parent, to get to know you the only way available," he said. "Regardless of her own views on the matter, she should have thought of his need ahead of her own feelings."
He smiled at his friend. "You're not the same man, but you are the only version of you he has ever had a relationship with. He likes and respects you, he values your opinion, not for who you were but for who you are now." He smiled when Remus said he was his parents' son. "Thank you," he said. "That is a great compliment."
