She sighed when Marly said they'd fought, not quite sure what to say. "Was there a particular reason you fought?" she asked. "He loves you, you know," she added, and maybe it went beyond logic, but to her that meant something all the same. "More importantly, you are what he looks forward to when he goes home." He might not have told her as much, but she knew it too well not to know that.
