Severus threw an interested glance Al's way. "I never tried," he admitted. "It's a spell I devised for secrecy; I've always cast it alone." He thought about it. "It might work if both our hands are on the wand and scroll. Let's try."
He selected one of the tightly rolled black scrolls he used for his own high-security letter charm, holding it out and circling round to stand behind Al, arms bracketing the shorter man's. When Al touched the scroll, he offered Al his wand, and his hand closed over Al's hand on the ebony.
He moved their joined hands to tap the scroll, and incanted Serpenscript.
Then he waited for Al to speak first, since it was his idea.
