Dom turned into Dylan then, pressing her face against the side of his neck and struggling to keep herself from falling apart all over again. She had done too much of that all ready, and she hated it. She hated this feeling, like the world had been pulled out from under her.
It was only when she felt like she wouldn't start sobbing the moment she opened her mouth that Dom leaned her head against Dylan's shoulder, pulling back just slightly, but still keeping that contact that was giving her something to focus on other than all the emotions whirling around in her head.
"There is going to be so much to catch up on when I go back to the school." She said finally, she couldn't start talking about her mother, she needed something else to focus on.
