Charlie could see how much easier it was for his brother to focus on this boy than to talk about Fleur, he could give him that, at least for the moment. Charlie had always been quite a good distraction, or so he was told.
"Well of course you're not." Charlie nodded when Bill told him that he wasn't asking him to give the boy a hard time. "But then I can hardly sit by idly knowing that some boy is toying with my niece's heart." He shook his head. It wasn't the right time here, but maybe in a few days. Not here at the funeral - he would watch them though, just to be on the safe side.
"How much longer do you think you'll need to stay?" Charlie thought it might have been best for all of them to leave the way Louis had earlier. They didn't need to stand around letting people tell them how sorry they were.
