Emmeline smiled, tilting her head. "Why would you smack him for being injured," she said. "Would you not want to take care of him more instead?" she said, not even able to consider smacking Marly for being hurt. More than not she got an almost overwhelming urge to hug her, which for her was very unusual.
"I have read as much, about the shop," she said. "And your brother just lost his wife and home. He must not have an easy time right now. They lived above the shop, did they not? Have they managed to find somewhere else to live at the moment?"
She smiled when he agreed to coffee pondering where. There was the hospital cafeteria, but that coffee was never good. "Diagon?" she suggested. "There is a coffee shop which serves acceptable coffee quite close to Flourish & Blotts."
