Oh, Alastor thought he could get to like this young man! It wasn't hard to see why Lupin had gravitated toward him, either. He'd love to just sit back and listen to a conversation between Black and Marlene for his own amusement. The two of them would likely drive each other 'round the twist, of course. "An apt description," he said with a chuckle. "And no, if she was in the mood, she likely wouldn't have bothered getting dressed much more than that had you forewarned us. But, the door's always open, unannounced or planned."
He almost left discussion of the Order there, but he did have to huff in amusement and say "Don't let McKinnon hear you say that. Apparently the insanity of the man I became is not one of my better traits.
"That we will," he agreed with a nod of his own. While he may share the common Ravenclaw trait of a love affair with words and ideas, Alastor believed in matching his actions to those words. He was more than happy to let his actions in this prove his words to the younger Black brother.
"Good. Then I think we'll get on just fine for doing what we need to. Shall we rejoin the others and save them both from rehashing whatever disagreements over propriety they're liking getting themselves into?"
