Marlene had no idea what was the problem now, although it seemed like they all had different problems. "What are you on about? All of you?" she asked with a frown. "I'm not tormenting anyone. This is how I always walk around. I didn't change for them. If Dumbledore and Gellert don't see anything wrong and they were born in the 19th century, I think I'm covered, and not in the physical sense," she said, pulling the quilt over her legs until she was covered.
"Love," she said, turning to Regulus. "I know you think that Gryffindors aren't observant, but it wasn't hard to figure out what was going on between you two. You'll have to learn to hide things better if you want to keep it a secret."
Marlene knew that they were going to disagree with her, but she couldn't help but give the opposite point of view. "I know you all think that telling people will make you more vulnerable, but there's also strength to be found. You will have the support of everyone involved, everyone here. It might not seem much, but knowing that you can rely on others helps."
She chuckled. "You tell me not to talk about presents, and then you bring them up again."
