"Oh, well. I can't prescribe potions you know, but I'm pretty good at the actual healing process," Lori said, laughing nervously. He motioned for Jacob to take a seat on the examination table as he sanitized his hands and put on gloves. "I can check you over, make sure you dind't miss anything major." It wasn't exactly protocol, but it wasn't against regulation either, as long as Lori didn't prescribe medicine.
He moved closer to the table, perching on the stool at the end of the bed as he looked up slightly at Jacob. This position was slightly suggestive, and Lori felt a blush come over his face, and reminded himself that he was a professional. He tore his gaze away from the splay of Jacob's legs, and concentrated on his face. It wasn't much better, but at least he could pretend to ignore his body's reaction.
"You should take better care of yourself," he said, gently running his wand over Jacob to find the injuries. "Especially if you want to continue to be able to help people."
