"You only grovelled because you constantly failed," Bellatrix retorted with a high pitch laugh. "Soon the Dark Lord will be more powerful than he ever was, and when that happens he will deal with that senile old man and your sentimental band of Gryffindors will be left to disperse," she said through manic laughter, throwing herself to the side to avoid the killing curse, and feeling the burn of a slash.
"Oh cute, are we?" she laughed, aiming the Cruciatus at him even as she looked over her shoulder to see who was hit with his killing curse. "Better be careful, your band of sentimental Gryffindors won't be pleased if you kill one of them by mistake," she said mockingly, making sure to position herself so that any spell at her, would be aimed at someone else was well.
"How is life with only Gryffindors for company?" she mocked as her hexes flew. "Want to run off a cliff yet out of sheer boredom?"
