The abject horror of seeing Wheezes go up in flames made Fred's stomach roll, but he would not let that overwhelm him. They had worked so hard, mostly George, to build the company to what it was and he could not see his brother loose something so precious as their shop. He doubted George would be able to bear it.
With that thought, he pushed on, hexing at anyone who hexed first. So narrowly focused on hurting others for the sake of his shop and brother that he missed the one curse directly aimed at him.
Keep fighting, make sure to not hit anyone.
Fred felt the sleepy, content feeling wash over him and suddenly his aim was just a little bit off, hitting inanimate objects rather than the people he should have been intending for.
