Re: After the Meeting - Regulus and Remus
Regulus' laughter was echoed by Remus' softer variant. "How about we leave Harry alone and subject to his own fate, whatever that may be, without meddling? I still won't brood and you can still have lots of shagging." Smiling, Remus watched the other man glance toward the Headmaster and said nothing further about the prospect of friends. "And, as I said, I could say it. But, you'd never believe it. At least not so long as I keep control of myself."
Cocking his head to one side, curiously, Remus said, "One day, I'd be interested in hearing how you could find it relaxing. It's not something I understand and I'd like to." He'd told Regulus on more than one occasion he would never judge him for his past and he held by that promise. He never would. But, he couldn't say he always understood aspects of that past and he believed making the effort to do so was one of those things you did when you loved someone. "So, as I once said, everything is about you," he concluded with a warm laugh and matching grin.
A grin that faded into yet another resigned sigh. There were going to be two more possible avenues to finding out how much of a weakness they were to each other. "The way he's hovering is an indication," he confirmed. "We'll see how things go with her condition over the next couple days. In the meantime, why don't we go ahead and get out of here? I think we've been here long enough no one will notice us leave."
