Re: After the Meeting - Regulus and Remus
"You're terrible." Although, Remus was trying to stifle his own chuckles, so he couldn't be too affronted at the teasing. "You know what's the worst part? I could make threats against your friend, but you'd never believe I'd do it."
He lost the battle with his laughter, however, at the thought of what Marlene's reaction would be if she knew she'd just been compared to Bellatrix Lestrange in that manner. "I went to Moody for that sort of training. Marlene would like to think she's teaching us about how to enjoy life, I think. The parties, loosening up about sex, it's all part of that." He chuckled. "You are, although, there are a few of us that aren't quite uncouth in her circle of acquaintances -- just a little rough around the edges."
Remus bit his lip. "I'm not sure what else she's picked up on. What she mentioned was that I'd seemed to know what you might or might not like when she and I talked at the party. I told her we're friends. But she only said I was good, but not that good and then sent me off to play with my friends, as it were, with promises not to press the subject." He huffed softly. "She promised she was 'totally honourable' when you danced."
