Re: After the Meeting - Regulus and Remus
"I don't know." Remus hummed thoughtfully, eyes dancing with good humour. "There might be a great deal of shagging involved with that remedy. Harry's a very good friend, almost like family. There would be a lot of brooding if he were to die." And it was really too bad they were stuck there in front of everyone because he wanted to be in contact with the other man in even just a small way if they were going to continue this sort of banter.
"Maybe, although in a way it's understandable. She truly believes in the idea of the Order as a family. And, while she was just about the age she is now, we were fresh out of school when we all joined up. Eighteen and cocksure." Chuckling, he answered Regulus' smile with one of his own. "Well, you do have a distinctive touch to such things." Remus shrugged. "So she says. It's her job, as she put it, to take little details and put them together. To her, this robe says there's someone who cares for me. Whether she's discounting other options, I couldn't say."
Remus sighed, thinking it might be better to tell Regulus everything now, since Marlene was the topic of conversation. "However, she might also be putting it together with other little details and coming up with the truth."
