"It might solve those problems," Remus agreed, voice even though there was a mischievous gleam in his eyes. "Of course, James might actually miss his father and you'd have to deal with the newly created problem of my renewed brooding over the loss of a friend."
Still, he only shook his head. He wasn't going to argue with Regulus over Harry or Dumbledore when he knew nothing he could say would change the other man's mind on either of them.
"I didn't say we ever saw her that way." Remus chuckled softly. "But, they do get on remarkably well. And she is very observant," he agreed. Then he smiled softly a moment before schooling his features back into a more neutral version of 'friendly'. "Right before she declared you had to be the giver because of your classic taste and no one else had the means and the style, she said she could tell by looking at them that whoever had them made for me cared a great deal."
