Re: After the Meeting - Regulus and Remus
Remus refrained from rolling his eyes, though that was his first instinct. "Or we could not send my friend into what you hope is certain death," he said dryly. "In any case, I only meant if James and the others are afraid of his influence on others in the Order, knowing what he's thinking is necessary from a strategic planning point of view."
Shrugging, Remus took his attention away from Dumbledore and turned back to Regulus. "He's not all bad. Has his flaws like anyone else. But, he's not all bad."
Dumbledore was another subject he knew they were never going to agree on -- like most of the people Remus called friend, really.
"Marlene's always been a free spirit, fancies herself an older sister to us 'boys', I think. She and your brother share a sense of humour," he said with a chuckle. "But, she explained her behaviour with me a bit just now. She made assumptions as to how I would have 'grown up' and those assumptions proved incorrect." A soft laugh escaped him. "Yes, well, Prongs is pretty good, according to her. James is modern and bloody expensive, where you have a very classic style. Although, if what she guessed about pricing is accurate, you spent way too much on robes for a casual friend you didn't expect to talk to again, m'Tywyllwch," he added fondly, more teasing than truly chastising.
