Re: After the Meeting - Regulus and Remus
Remus only shrugged, not bothering to say anything about 'Saint Potter' because he also knew there was little chance of his lover seeing his friend in any other light. "Maybe he can. But, if he has the power to polarise the Order into factions that will work against the new leadership, knowing what he's not pleased with is important."
Sighing softly, he turned his head slightly to watch the old wizard as he spoke to this person and that. "I don't think most of them see more than the surface, more than what he wants to see. He's more like a concept to them than a real person."
For the first time in two months, reference to the birthday present drew a chuckle instead of a growl. "She apologised for that, actually. Wasn't expecting that. She's tired, though. I can see a similar weariness in her that James and Dylan bore when they were cursed. Not that she'd admit it to anyone but Moody, I'm sure. But, she's certainly more subdued than I've seen her since she came back.
"Incidentally, according to her, I should only let you, James, or Prongs buy clothes for me as you're the only friends I have with taste, excepting her, of course."
