"But according to Dumbledore not in the position you have in the Order," Harry answered, but again he was not sure that was the truth or just what sounded good.
"I do understand why this is necessary. You can't give me orders one moment and I you the next, it wouldn't work." That didn't mean he was pleased with losing Moody, he most certainly was not. Mostly he just wished this had been handled better. He could not blame Moody for Dumbledore's lack of tact, however.
"I wouldn't have lobbied for the Patrol if I didn't think it was necessary," he said. "And of course we can work together. I want the Patrol to work too," he said. "Let's just try and avoid this kind of situation in the future. Working together is smoother that way."
