He wasn't sure it helped at all that Moody had wanted his job. "Seeing how he said my job was too powerful to have the position in the order I don't know where that would have got you," he said. It was bullshit of course, but he didn't care. He didn't want to be a leader of the Order. He was quite happy being the head of the Aurors, and he certainly wasn't giving his position up voluntary.
