That did mollify him slightly, because there were plenty of things he had not told Moody, things that he'd not told anyone on the force because it was vital to keep from public knowledge.
"I would have trusted you to do this right," Harry said, listening to what Moody was saying. "So what you're saying is that you weren't told either? You didn't know before now that the position was yours?" And he knew getting angry with Dumbledore would get him no where fast. There was no point in arguing with the man, he could tell you the sky was purple and you'd believe it even if you looked up and saw that it was blue.
